12pm: Sand Sculpture Competition @ The Court House Beach. Registration begins at noon. Judging will take place at 4pm. BBQ & Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
7pm: “Little Miss Chestico” and Family Ceilidh with lunch @ The Al MacInnis Sports Centre. Admission is $3.00, 12 & under $1.00 & Pre-Schoolers get in free.
Thursday, August 4th:
4pm: Lobster Supper (Market Lobsters) @ Al MacInnis Sports Centre. Lobster in shell along with homemade salads, rolls, pie, tea & coffee – $18.00. Pop – $1.00. Hot Dogs are free for children when Adult Meal is purchased.
7:30pm: History & Tales of Port Hood evening @ The Chestico Museum. Tea & light lunch will be served. Admission – $5.00. Children 12 & under get in free.
Friday, August 5th:
2pm: Chestico Teddy Bear Picnic @ Al MacInnis Sports Centre – Children’s Sing-Song with Lynn Chisholm, games, story time & a visit from Daisy the Cow. Sponsored in part by Scotsburn Dairy. Admission – $3.00 each or $10.00 per family. BRINGYOURFAVOURITETEDDYBEAR OR TOY!
2pm – 4pm: Entertainment & Hot Dog BBQ at the Port Hood Co-op Parking Lot. Hot Dogs – $2.00. Pop/Water – $1.50. Sponsored by Port Hood Co-op & Chestico Museum.
6pm: Harness Racing @ Port Hood Race Track – Glencoe Station Rd. with Beer Garden, Entertainment & BBQ. Bounce for Cash – $5 per ticket or 3 for $10. Tickets available at DF Beaton Service Centre, Ceilidh Coop or any member of the KOC. $500 prize for each race.
